Senior Software Developer

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Software Developer to lead development of web applications and SaaS platforms at Galileo Studio and its ventures. You'll be a technical reference on architecture, code quality and continuous delivery on projects that blend product, AI and B2B business.

What you'll do

1. 01Design and build applications with Next.js, React and TypeScript in cloud environments
2. 02Define architecture, patterns and code standards across multi-product projects
3. 03Integrate backend services, third-party APIs, auth and databases in production
4. 04Mentor junior engineers and review PRs with a focus on maintainability and security
5. 05Collaborate with design and product to iterate fast without sacrificing technical quality
6. 06Participate in estimation, deployments and production incident resolution

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack or frontend-heavy web development
• Strong command of React/Next.js, TypeScript and testing and CI/CD best practices
• Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), REST/GraphQL APIs and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Solid judgment on performance, accessibility and security in SaaS applications
• Experience integrating AI into products (LLM APIs, webhooks, queues) is a plus
• Autonomy, clear communication and a drive to deliver value in small teams

Your first 90 days

1. Week 1Learn the architecture of our products and make your first deployment.
2. Month 1Lead a feature end to end and propose architecture improvements.
3. Month 3Become the technical lead of a product and mentor junior engineers.
