Junior AI Engineer

About the role

We're looking for a Junior AI Engineer to help design, prototype and ship AI solutions in real products—from copilots and agents to RAG pipelines and automations for SMEs. You'll work alongside senior engineers and founders on ventures like WorkOps, Acatia Compliance and Piro IP.

What you'll do

1. 01Implement and maintain AI features in web and SaaS products (LLMs, embeddings, RAG)
2. 02Prototype integrations with model APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, etc.)
3. 03Build and evaluate prompts, agent flows and orchestration tooling
4. 04Prepare datasets, ingestion pipelines and quality checks for real use cases
5. 05Collaborate on code reviews, technical documentation and cloud deployments
6. 06Research new techniques and turn them into measurable improvements for clients and ventures

What we're looking for

• 0–2 years of software development experience with an AI/ML focus, or demonstrable academic/personal projects
• Practical knowledge of Python or TypeScript and familiarity with REST APIs
• Basic experience with LLMs, embeddings or frameworks like LangChain/LangGraph is a plus
• Ability to read technical papers/docs and apply learnings in code
• Product mindset: you care that what you build works in production
• Fluent Spanish and technical English for documentation and team communication

Your first 90 days

1. Week 1Set up Claude Code and Cursor, get onboarded on the stack and ship your first PR to production.
2. Month 1Join a venture and deliver your first AI feature.
3. Month 3Own a RAG or agents use case end to end, with evaluation and metrics.
